Champions of the Track Announces Media Project Treasure of the Midwest to Promote Thoroughbred Breeding and Racing in Indiana

Indiana (April 1, 2021) - Champions of the Track has partnered with the Indiana Thoroughbred Alliance, the Indiana Horsemen’s Benevolent & Protective Association, and Indiana Grand Racing & Casino to create a media project titled Treasure of the Midwest, set to launch in Spring/Summer of 2021. This project aims to promote the breeding and racing of Thoroughbred horses in Indiana.

The project will consist of a YouTube series showcasing some of the state’s farms and horsemen. Additionally, written stories of successful Indiana-bred horses and horsemen will be published on Champions of the Track’s website, champsofthetrack.com. Champions of the Track will also publish photographs and interactive content related to the project on their social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) under the hashtag #TreasureoftheMidwest.

Treasure of the Midwest aims to shine a brighter spotlight on Indiana’s Thoroughbred program, within both the industry and the general public. The project looks to encourage more people to participate in Indiana’s lucrative breeding and racing programs while also educating Hoosier residents and the general racing fan about the state’s vibrant Thoroughbred industry, which centers around Indiana Grand Racing & Casino in Shelbyville.

“Having a strong online presence is imperative to success in virtually every industry today,” says Kaeli Bartholomew, owner and creative director of Champions of the Track. “Indiana can offer a large financial benefit to breeders, stallion owners, and racehorse owners who choose to participate in this program. We look forward to assisting the horsemen in demonstrating this fact through a strong set of content.”

The written & social media portion of this project will begin releasing in mid-April and the video series will launch in the Summer.
